   Vertebral Subluxation in Chiropractic Practice
          International Chiropractors Association's Committee on Chiropractic Practice Guidelines and Protocols.
This 3^rd Chapter of ICA's Recommended Clinical Protocols and Guidelines for the Practice of Chiropractic discusses Instrumentation, Radiographic and other Imaging, Clinical Impression and Assessment, Reassessment and Outcome Assessment, Modes of Adjustive Care, Duration of Care for Correction of Vertebral Subluxation, and Chiropractic Care for Children.


   Vertebral Subluxation in Chiropractic Practice
          Council on Chiropractic Practice (CCP).
          The major recommendations address: Case History, Chiropractic Examination, Radiographic and Other Imaging studies, Clinical Impression and Assessment, Reassessment and Outcomes Assessment, Duration of Care for Correction of Vertebral Subluxation (included in the Articles section), and Chiropractic Care of Children.   Their complete Guideline, in Adobe Acrobat (358 KB) is also available.

   Duration of Care for Correction of Vertebral Subluxation
           Vertebral Subluxation in Chiropractic Practice Guidelines.
           Chiropractors are encouraged to employ a clinically driven variable length of care format in which the duration of care is determined by each individual patient’s progress toward meeting measurable objectives, set in individualized care plans and identified during individual assessment. This application ensures that patients are not over- or underutilizing a health-care resource and are currently receiving the best possible care.
