medical = standard medical care;
sham = standard medical care plus sham manipulation;

Note: The post-test for medical patient number one (medical-1) occurred after spinal surgery and is not applicable to this study;
medical patient number two (medical-2) was not asked the satisfaction question, because no "active" therapy was applied;
and medical patient number three (medical-3) was braced.
