ETIOLOGY: Typically related to cauda equina compression, and is more appropriately managed surgically

 

APPROPRIATE CARE: Urgent referral for neurosurgical consult.

 

EXPECTED FREQUENCY AND DURATION OF CARE: Typically not managed presurgically, although residual post-surgical overlying conditions may be benefitted from chiropractic care.

Chronological Algorithm: Based on overlying post-surgical considerations.
