Chiro.Org Proudly Supports Chiropractic Research
The Board of Chiro.Org just unanimously approved a $2500 donation to Chiropractic Research at our March Board meeting. This will be the eighth year in a row that the website has made a research tithe, and to date that contribution totals $16,000.
This year's gifts includes a $1000 contribution to the
CMCC (Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College's Research Department), to acknowledge the great work of Howard Vernon, DC, PhD, and the dedication of our 2 Canadian volunteers (John and Michael).
We also donated a $750 "Partners in Research" donation to FCER for basic research, and another $750 to the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to support research demonstrating the benefits of chiropractic care for children.
We want to thank our volunteer webmasters (chiropractors all) for keeping our overhead to the minimum, and our Banner Sponsors for the income we need to maintain our website and to support chiropractic
research.
What Can You Do?
In the Age of Accountability, insurers might only pay for care that is supported by
research. Our intention is to do our part, and to encourage our readers (chiropractors all) to do their part, to put their money where it will do the most good... into quality research, which accurately describes the miracles we see every day in our practices. Please visit both these research websites and make a donation to further their research. It's the smart thing to do!
