She also is beginning to be embarassed in school due to her frequent trips to the bathroom. I am adjusting cervical and sacral subluxations. So far 3 visits no change. Any other suggestions and any advice on how long it may take? Mom says the pediatrician isn't too concerned and that medication didn't help. Also, once I was a foster parent and the young man in my charge was a bedwetter. We found out that he also had sleep apnea and never had a decent night's sleep, so the anti-diuretic hormone never kicked in. Also consider NeuroEmotional Technique. She may be "pissed-off" at someone! I recall a patient of mine that had chronic bladder infections...rather, all the symptoms of bladder infections. The MDs just prescribed antibiotics, but the problem just kept coming back. Finally, I asked her who she was pissed-off at, and she gave me this litany of things her husband had done to her. After she vented her spleen, no more bladder "infections." Anything else involved? Scoliosis? Lumbar spine, etc. Clean'em up (subluxations) and it will be resolved in that amount of time. Micheal J. Miller D.C. I have found that bedwetting has a basis of allergic reaction, very often to milk products. I also recommend that the possibility of emotional issues be explored, either with the child alone, or as a family. Three visits may or may not do much. Look at diet. Food allergies can create an irritation to the basement membranes of the bladder lining and make it less able hold urine to a full level it also makes voiding a necessity. Also food allergies can make brain chemistry change enough to create a sleep state that is difficult to awaken from. Look first to the likely excess refined carb's, soda's especially caffeinated and sugar filled soda's, and then any food consumed on a daily basis. try to rotate these out. If know results order tests. Certainly the parents and you must reinforce good behavior and not putt any negative emotion into the kids head about his behavior.
