I have heard this medical tripe against Chiropractic for near 30 yrs. I have walked around with Orthos. Neuros. and GPs numerous times. Without a doubt, with the exception of 1 neurologist, they have no clue @ diagnosing soft tissue dysfunction. Accepted medical procedure is the 'unscientific' approach to patient care. I challenge DCs to visit MD offices and especially MDs to follow DCs around for a day. We used to have MDs in this office do rounds and without exception they were astounded at what happened in this office. Then ask those smarmy MDs who's scientific and who's the quack.

In my opinion,Professor MacLennan better read the literature regarding chiropractic and physical medicine. I notice that the groups and certain people that are pre-occupied disliking chiropractic won't let it get away from being considered "alternative" health care. Chiropractic treatment/therapy is a conservative health care option. As physical therapists continue their advancement into physical medicine (DPT) critics don't want chiropractic to advance/evolve. The critics enjoy using the minority of chiropractic groups as representing the entire profession. Although there are doctors of chiropractic stuck in the older paradigm,modern/contemporary chiropractic is based on modern neuroscience.
